Ali Williams & James O'Connor placed in custody for buying cocaine?


Ali Williams (Racing 92) & James O'Connor (RCT) were arrested by police and taken into custody for buying cocaine in Paris.

According to TF1 and LCI, the second line New Zealander, Ali Williams (35 years, 77 selections), and the Australian, James O'Connor (26 years, 44 selections), were arrested by the police in Paris In the night of Friday to Saturday for buying cocaine.

In the meantime, This would have taken place in front of a nightclub, "place de l'Etoile", around 3am. The two players were spotted by plainclothes police officers while they were in the middle of a deal with two dealers. The former All Black and the Australian were subsequently placed in police custody while they were alcoholic and without any identity papers on them.

A little more than a week ago, it was another player from Racing 92, Dan Carter, who made the headlines. The opener elected best player of the year in 2005, 2012 and 2015 had been checked in drunk driving in Paris during the night of 15 to 16 February.
